Continuing Education

Licensing Requirements

 

​   MASSACHUSETTS

  • 12 hours of continuing education is required for renewal by May 31 biennially on even years.

    • At least 4 hours must be dedicated to 266 CMR regulations and SOP

    • AT least 1 hour must be dedicated to professional ethics​

    NEW HAMPSHIRE​

  •  20 hours of continuing education is needed during the biennial licensing period

    • Licensees must begin accumulating continuing education hours commencing with their date of licensure and report 20 continuing education hours to the Board of their first renewal

    • 1 hour must be in recent revisions to building regulations

    • All courses pertaining to building technologies, best and worst construction practices, new construction technologies and system installation practices will qualify as the one hour of continuing education required for recent revision to building regulations    ​
