Nikki A. Kreye

Nikki Ann Kreye, 34, of Red Wing, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 3, 2015. She was born August 27, 1980, in Red Wing, to James and Kellee (Gilles) Kreye and graduated from Goodhue High School in 1998. She then attended SE Technical College and also worked there for a period of time. She had worked at various other jobs, including Sprint in Winona and was currently employed at Universal Services in Hastings, where she had been the past three years. Nikki's mantra was "live well, love much and laugh often" and her personality showed it. She spent as much time as she could doing the things she loved--camping, fishing, hiking and kayaking and being with those she loved, her family and friends.
Nikki will be dearly missed by her son, Riely Kreye; parents, Jim and Kellee Kreye; sister, Angela (Dustin) Schulenberg; nephew and niece, Alek and Taylor Schulenberg; grandparents, JoAnn Carlson, Virgil Kreye and Dick Gilles; uncles, Tony and Steve (Rene) Gilles all of Red Wing, John (Diane) Kreye of Mpls., Gary and Tom (Bev) Kreye of Red Wing and an aunt, Debbie (Rick) Knowlton of Red Wing and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Richard Kreye and Evert Carlson.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at First Lutheran Church in Red Wing with Rev. Bill Odermann officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
