Jennifer Lawrence, One Direction and presenter Nick Jonas were among the winners at this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

Liam Hemsworth, Emma Stone and Angelina Jolie were also honoured at the 28th annual awards show, held at The Forum in Inglewood, California last night (March 28).

The Hunger Games series led the winners, taking home the orange blimp for Favourite Movie (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1), Favourite Female Buttkicker (Lawrence) and Favourite Male Buttkicker (Hemsworth).

Other movie-based awards went to Emma Stone, who won Favourite Movie Actress for her role as Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Ben Stiller, who was named Favourite Movie Actor for Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.

Angelina Jolie took home the award for Favourite Movie Villain for her stint as the titular character in Disney's Maleficent.

Jonas accepted the award (and a bucket of slime) for Favourite Male Singer at the event, while Selena Gomez earned the title of Favourite Female Singer for a second year.

The accolade of Favourite Music Group went to One Direction, just days after the news came that Zayn Malik was quitting the band, while 'Bang Bang' by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj took home the title of Favourite Song of the Year.

Earlier this week, TV presenters Ant & Dec received Nickelodeon's first ever UK TV Legends Kids' Choice Award.

The 28th annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards will air in the UK at 5pm today (Sunday, March 30) and will re-air on Channel 5 on April 5. Coverage is hosted by Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely of Diversity.
