Did I say whiskey already? He does not use wax. The weapons of choice are a tweezer, a brow comb, brow scissor, and that one quick diva side eye that accurately gauges how bad the situation is. With his lightning-fast and painless tweezing and trimming, your brows will be shaped to camera-ready perfection. Short on time but need to get rid of that pesky bush on your face? You can get a lunchtime brow shaping in under 15 minutes. You will be back at your desk raising arches of your own from envious colleagues.

Ramy can be pricey, but it is well worth it if you are seeking a makeover or are just frustrated with getting your face burned by wax at other places. His other services include makeup application and lessons, perfect for brides-to-be or those just looking to enhance their beauty. Like the diva he is, he also has his own line of cosmetics for women and men! My unisex pick is his studio sticks concealer. It helped me hide a tattoo from mom's conservative wrath during a family reunion.

He boasts an impressive list of celebrity clientele, but is humble enough not to mention it unless you ask. If $50 is more your budget, you can get the same results with an associate. I continue to see Ramy because I've trusted my brows to this man since I was in High School, and trust no one else. Although, I cheated on him once and went to Eliza's Eyes where I paid nearly double the price for 2 minutes of waxing with this "celebrity brow guru". The result: a permanent sad and tired expression until my brows grew out. Never again will I ever stray from you, Ramy. My diva brows are yours forever!

I've been a client of Ramy's for more than a few years now. He saved my eyebrows from a hot thin over threaded mess, to full and wonderfully shaped. I get many compliments. I love the fact he uses tweezers and scissors, because the shape turns out perfectly sculpted.

And he is a lot of fun to talk with. Well worth the investment!

Ramy is a huge sweetheart, and the eyebrow shaping is well worth the money. I was a bit afraid after looking at his celebrity client list he'd be uppity, but the atmosphere was as laid back as could be. He even put on a bit of make up on for me and showed me how to fill in my eyebrows. :)

Being bald, I feel that I can't really hide anything behind hair and every facial feature gets more attention, especially (oddly enough) my brows. I get complimented on them all the time, and I'll definitely be going back!

So happy I found Ramy and finally took my friends advice to go. 100% worth it. He is a brow master and was able to help make me feel much more comfortable with my brows and not make them 'too feminine' or 'overly cleaned up'

Went to him today with a friend and I FELL IN LOVE with him... with his personality... with his passion... and with his talent! He really did what I wanted and I left wanting to hug him! What I love the most other than my sick brows was that he is not cocky! He has every reason to be and he is so down to earth! I love those kind of people!! Can't wait to see him in a month! Ramy is simply AMAZING! I have to admit, at $90/session, I had to really take a leap of faith and was a bit skeptical about the value....that is UNTIL I went for my first appointment. I've been getting my eyebrows waxed/shaped/plucked since I was 15 and they have never in 20 years since looked this great. He literally took years off my face...I now have the perfect, lifted arch that I've always wanted. Thank you, Ramy!! Worth every penny!

Hour long make up session.
I bought an hour long make up session from "Living Social" with Ramy Spa. I scheduled my session with Ramy himself. The session was less than an hour about 50 min which would have been ok if I was happy. I was NOT happy. He sat me down on his chair and just started quickly applying make up and telling me about his make up line and the price of each as he applied.

He started so quickly that caught me off guard. He did not ask, what are my concerns, what colors do I like, do I have any particular complaints in any area or not, did not match the make up to my complexion, just used whatever was in front of him and quickly applied it. There was no lessons, no explanations, no consulting me on the feel of the product, whether I liked it or not, or colors!!!! The reason it took 50 minutes (because he was done in 15 min), is that he started to tell me the long and tragic story of him having health issues 14 years ago and how a snobby 5th avenue salon mistreated him. I have all the sympathies in the world to his situation but I paid good money, and am spending my precious time to get a new look. In the beginning I told him that I'm tired of the same old make up that I do every day and want something different.

He DID NOT ask me what is my same old routine so he could come up with something different. However, the entire time he was very consistent in telling me how much each product that he used on me costs and his focus was completely on that. It was obvious that he calculated that people pay the fee to living social and come for the make up application and it is a great opportunity to shove his line down their throats. I hated my make up and came home, washed it off, put my own make up on and went out!

I've been to Ramy twice for my eyebrows and his artistry is unmatched. I get constant compliments and people asking me if I've had Botox ( I haven't). The spa is very welcoming, like Ramy himself, and his concealer is the best I've ever tried.

I've been going to Ramy for nearly a year now, and I cannot say enough positive things about his work as well as his great, down to earth personality. It's always a pleasure to go to the salon, but when I walk out I feel like I have a new face! It's worth the extra to have a perfect brow shaping, and he is truly talented. Very modest about his star power as well. Bravo!
