@ Westy's Garden Lanes Monday Evening: 6:30 pm - 9:15 pm
About us
The Industrial League has been bowling at Westy's Garden Lanes since approximately 1967 (still trying to verify the exact year through USBC).
This season (2019-20) we have 18 teams competing. The season goes from September 9th, 2019 through March 30th, 2020
Practice starts at 6:20 pm and the first game commences at 6:30 pm. Most nights we are done by 9:15 pm
So far this year there have been three (0) 300 games bowled.
Harold Marker 6th Man Award.
The Harold Marker 6th Man Award was started a number of years ago after Harold Marker, a longtime member of the league, had to stop bowling due to medical conditions. Harold had always volunteered to help the league in numerous ways as a non-officer. When he stopped bowling, this award was established to recognize individuals who go above and beyond helping the league, even though they do not hold an officer position.
Last year, 2016-17, new team to the league, The Outsiders, won the 4th quarter and the League Championship by narrowly beating the defending League Champions, Lynx Services by taking team total the final game while only winning one individual game avoiding a 10th frame roll-off. Congratulations to The Outsiders.
