'Imagination governs the world': Heidi Klum has put her stunning Los Angeles, California, home on the market which features a library containing a bookcase from Napoleon's very own French country house
While designed to look as though the property is a quaint French country home, the 12,300-square-foot, eight bedroom and ten bath estate is far from a cozy cottage.
The 40-year-old - who has four children, Leni, 10, Henri, eight, Johan, seven and Lou, four - originally bought the home with ex-husband Seal in 2010 for just over $14.2 million while it was in foreclosure.
While a steal compared to its new listing price, at the time the Germany's Next Topmodel host was forced to pay more than its original asking price after a bidding war broke out.
Top tastes: The model spared no expense renovating the already stunning European-inspired home
Family home: The 40-year-old - who has four children, Leni, 10, Henri, eight, Johan, seven and Lou, four - originally bought the home with ex-husband Seal in 2010 for just over $14.2 million while it was in foreclosure
Already in love with the sprawling home - which is located on over 8 acres - Heidi could just not say no.
Securing the property for her self, the star spent more than six months transforming it into the prefect home for herself and her children, where she continued to live even after the split with her husband.
Heidi said on The Agency's listing website: 'Sometimes I sit in the garden, drinking my coffee, looking at the Pacific, and really feel it is a little piece of heaven.
Old meets new: Once visitors walk through the large door of the vine covered home, they are treated to an exquisitely bended modern meets museum interior
Opulent detail: Heidi has the former owner of the home to thank for some of its most unusual pieces which includes a formal dining room that is made from the wood panelling from the Pierre Hotel in Paris
'We worked extensively for over six months to replace every window, re-stain all the gorgeous woodwork, upgrade all the appliances and fixtures and designed dream closets.
'We built a master bath with views of the ocean. By the time we finished, the house was as incredible as its grounds and views.'
It is easy to see why the home won over the model's heart, as images from agent Lynn Teschner reveal a not just ornate home with museum quality accents, but also a functional one with plenty of room for the star's large family.
Sleep like a supermodel: The master bedroom is more of a mini apartment suite consisting of a bedroom, living room, terrace with ocean views, his and her custom closets and, amazingly, two bathrooms
Fashionista's dream: The master has two walk in closets with space for a whole department store of shoes
The estate's grounds boast a formal rose garden, secret gardens, a koi pond and expansive views of both hiking trails and the ocean.
Making sure both children and adults are catered for, the home - which is unusually being marketed as the Heidi Klum Estate rather than hiding the identity of its owner - also features a playground, giant putting green and its Pièce de résistance, an infinity pool.
The pool and spa defines the outdoor entertaining space as quintessentially European with its pillar and flower pot-lined edge and a paved patio next to it featuring more pillars but this time vine received.
Cook up a storm: The chef's kitchen is the prefect spot for casual family meals
Space for fun: There is also all the mod-cons, a home office, a media room (pictured) and a temperature control wine tasting room and cellar
But, making the most of its Californian location, the not so subtle spot to cool off also has 180 degree views of the ocean and the rugged hills that surround the property.
Exactly how grand the home is strikes guests as they first arrive in the large motocourt complete with fountain and giant hanging lamp.

Heidi has the former owner of the home to thank for some of its most unusual pieces which includes a formal dining room that is made from the wood panelling from the Pierre Hotel in Paris that had to be dismantled, shipped to the United States and painstaking put back together again.
Pool in the sky: The home's infinity pool allows the star to soak in style with 180 degree views of the Pacific and surrounding rugged hills
Stunningly striking: The pool and spa defines the outdoor entertaining space as quintessentially European with its pillar and flower pot-lined edge but also embraces the beauty of the Californian coast
Let me entertain you: No doubt the German-born beauty has thrown many a party on the property's outdoor patio
The dining room is the perfect place to enjoy all the goodies whipped up in the eat-in chef's kitchen, which also reportedly contains a fireplace mantle from 17th century Scotland.
And, the liveable museum does not end there, with the mansion's library containing a bookcase from Napoleon's very own French country house.
But while there may be a lot of antique elements, the home is far from dark and oppressive embracing big windows to let in the light and offer views from every room.
Flipping amazing: The star is selling the mansion for a cool $25 million - $10 million more than she paid for it
A little bit of Europe: Taking elements from the grand estates of the model's native Europe, the mansion includes a dramatic motocourt and vine covered entrance way
Escape: One of its many features includes landscaped formal rose and secret gardens where the new owner can enjoy some tranquil rest and relaxation
There is also all the mod-cons, a home office, a media room and a temperature control wine tasting room and cellar.
The new owners will not just get to live like a supermodel but also sleep like one, with the master bedroom completely redone to match Heidi's needs and tastes.
The master - which is just one of eight bedrooms - is more of a mini apartment suite consisting of a bedroom, living room, terrace with ocean views, his and her custom closets and, amazingly, two bathrooms - a his and her's.
While many would question why after all her hard work Heidi would want to move, reportedly the model has already embarked on her next project - doing up her $9.875 million mansion in Bel Air that she purchased last year.
Exclusive area: The home is located within the gated Brentwood Country Estates just outside of Los Angeles, California
'A little piece of heaven': While designed to look as though the poverty is a quaint French country home, the 12,300-square-foot, eight bedroom and ten bath estate is far from a cozy cottage
The model also purchased her ex-boyfriend Martin Kirsten's mother a new house in their native South Africa after they parted ways in January.
The house is located in quite the model neighbourhood as it is just across the road from the sprawling mansion Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady just sold for a reported $40 million.
Rapper and producer Dr Dre is understood to have purchased the custom-built home last month after inking a deal to sell his Beats Electronics business to Apple for a rumoured $3.2billion.
According to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, Dr. Dre, 49, managed to secure the property for $10 million less than what the couple had originally listed it for.
