Pingy looks like a grenade. But Pingy doesn't start fires: Pingy puts them out. Pingy is a fire extinguisher.

Fourteen centimeters long (5.5") and weighing 1 kilogram, the makers claim it holds enough foam to douse the "beginnings of a house fire." A great idea for those who don't want heavy clunking extinguishers in every room, but who also don't want to die horribly in an inferno. From England's Daily Mail:

"Designer Erik Crommelynck came up with the idea after realising that most homeowners in his native Belgium didn't have fire extinguishers in their kitchen or living room because many people thought the traditional design was either ugly or too bulky.

He said: "It seemed to me that no one keeps them in their kitchens or living rooms now because they are ugly and take up too much space."

Unfortunately, you can't use the UK30 extinguisher as a grenade, even if you want to, as it has a valve to stop it exploding under pressure.
