Introducing Manchester Music Festival Young Artist Violist Brian Anderson!We're excited to welcome violist Brian Anderson back to Manchester this summer! 🙌Brian is a passionate chamber musician and teacher of both violin and viola. He's currently working towards a Master’s degree at Stony Brook University, with additional studies in the Emerson String Quartet Institute as a member of the Proust Quartet.One of his favorite pieces he has performed is Schumann's Piano Quintet last summer at MMF! An illustrated recording of classical piano works from Mozart to Gershwin and a touring Live Show incorporating music, props and storytelling performed by Je...Jenny's first season as Executive Director at Manchester Music Festival and so honored to have Wu Han opening the 50th Anniversary Festival!!Who better to help us kick off our golden anniversary season than pianist Wu Han? 🙌Wu Han, along with Philip Setzer and David Finckel, are featured on our season opener, performing works by Beethoven and Schubert. We are SO looking forward to their concert!Wu Han is the recipient of Musical America Worldwide's Musician of the Year Award, and enjoys a multi-faceted musical life that encompasses artistic direction, performing, and recording at the highest levels. She has been Co-Artististic Director of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center since 2004, as well as Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Silicon Valley’s innovative chamber music festival Music@Menlo since 2002.📸 Lisa-Marie MazzuccoDavid Finckel and Wu HanIntroducing another Manchester Music Festival Young Artist class of 2024 Bree Fotheringham.
