The Chengdu 2025 Local Organising Committee (LOC) has revealed the new logo of the 12th edition of The World Games.

Floorball’s Lisa Von Arx of Switzerland and her team-mates have qualified for The World Games 2025 in Chengdu (CHN). The Swiss women secured one of the five spots up for grabs at the Women's World Floorball Championships in Singapore in December 2023.
On 1 April, World No.13 Sivasangari Subramaniam of Malaysia won the prestigious GillenMarkets London Squash Classic at Alexandra Palace, beating World No.1 Nour El Sherbini (EGY) in the quarter-final, World No.4 Nele Gilis (BEL) in the semi-final and World No.2 Hania El Hammamy (EGY) in the final.
Important matters, including NOCs and NSOs cooperation, the IWGA Athletes Committee, and the Women’s leadership programme were among those presented at the IWGA Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Esslingen (GER) on 1 May 2024.
It’s official! Karlsruhe (GER) will host The World Games 2029, becoming the first city to organise the multi-sport event twice since its inception. A proven host with a strong track record, Germany has hosted the 3rd edition of The World Games in 1989 in Karlsruhe and the 7th edition in 2005 in Duisburg, as well as countless other major international sporting events.
